# FLR SCCA 2007 winter road rally series schedule

the Finger Lakes winter road rally series starts up again tomorrow. if you haven’t done a Time/Speed/Distance rally, check the links below for an overview. the last one was quite an adventure. 🙂
**Saturday 03 February 2007** - EVENT #2 - WWR 2007
Start/Finish: Yard of Ale Canal House Inn, Piffard, NY
Registration: 3:30-4:30PM, Novice Class: 4:00 PM, First Car Off: 5:01 PM
**Saturday 24 February 2007** - EVENT #3 - A RELAXING COUNTRY DRIVE
Start/Finish: Cheap Charlie’s, Bloomfield, NY
Registration: 4-5 PM, Novice Class: 4:30-5 PM, Driver’s Meeting: 5:00 PM, First Car Off: 5:31 PM
**Saturday 10 March 2007** - EVENT #4 -It Can’t be the Ides of March Already Is It?
Start/Finish: Cheap Charlie’s, Bloomfield, NY
**Saturday 24 March 2007** - EVENT #5 - IS THIS A ROAD? (this event was rescheduled from Jan. 20th)
Start/Finish: Cheap Charlie’s, Bloomfield, NY
Registration: 3-4 PM, Novice Class: 3:30-4 PM, Driver’s Meeting: 4:00 PM, First Car Off: 4:31 PM; First Car Finishes: approx. 11:30 PM
$25.00/ car - SCCA members, any region
$35.00/ car - Guests (non-members)

first car finishes around 11:30 or so, then we sit around BS’ing for a while as they tally all the scores.

they don’t actually check, but you do need a current inspection sticker.
anyway, it’s alright you didn’t make it – they said this was the first time in 15 years they had to end a rally early because of ZERO visibility. the snow was coming down hard and blowing like crazy. We made it to 6 checkpoints (out of about 20) before they sent us all back to the restaurant.
