Allright so my car is a 200 SX but the problem I am experiencing should be somewhat generic. I am having problems with my dashlights, particularly the signal lights. I seem to be loosing voltage somewhere, im not sure how or where. When i look at my volt meter on my dash it is always ticking back and forth, then when i put on my signal lights it bumps almost all the way up and down. This affects my tach and everything it seems when the system is under a big load stuff starts fluttering and going weird.

I have swapped out the signal light switch and flasher, this made no difference.

Some people have suggested that it might be the alternator, but I had this probelm before my SR swap… so with another alternator it did the same thing.

Any suggestions at all would be great!

Thanks in advance Craig

work your way with the volt meter up the circuit from the fuse. You have a short somewhere, and it’s probably going to be a pain to find it.
