# Foglights for the V

I figured I would make a poll since everyone else uses it to make their decisions.
The aftermarket to get rid of the orange in the CTS-V has two options.
Buy the STS-V fogs for about $300

or
Custom modified CTS-V housings with clear lenses. Huge pain with trying to take a flat piece of thick plastic to bend and adhere to the stock housings. $150 or so for a used set and $25 for the plastic.

The modified housing looks much better. You want some contrast between the 2 halves to give them some separation.

I do not. It is parked in a garage back in Buffalo. It was a CA car and has never seen the white stuff.
Funny thing is there was an XLR-V struck in my parking lot at work for 2 days this week due to the snow. He made fun of me in November for parking mine for the winter.

Current to do list before the V hits the roads this spring:
-Replacing some of the 194 bulbs with white 5-LED bulbs (city lights, license plate bulbs, and reverse bulbs for now)
-Custom black sidemarkers
-Something with the fogs
-I picked up a spare set of tails so maybe a Nite Shades and clear coat treatment
-Better bigger rubber and some other little upgrades
As for performance:
-Still looking for a decent deal on a Corsa exhaust

Well the winter spending continues
I just purchased a Corsa exhaust (hopefully I don’t get screwed)

Im buying the fogs from someone local in Detroit that went with the STS-V fogs.
As for the exhaust, I bought it brand new from a V forum member is Chi-town. He bought it and decided to go another route with a custom exhaust. The place he bought it from wanted a big restocking fee.
Now I play the waiting game after I have sent the money.
