Suspensions from picking fights don’t help you get into colleges, and a problem from a fight is a big red mark on any college application. I had a lot to lose by picking a fight, a lot of different college advisers I spoke to warned me to keep my record clean if I was to get into RPI. I’m where I want to be now, at RPI.
