3500? No its 4012lbs. add on 5 bodies and its almost 5000. Car is limited to 155mph but I know the E60 M5 will do 194mph at least with the Active Autowerks reflash. Either way too much car for a kid. ---

this hits close to home… last year someone i know died in a similar way. going high speeds north of stoufville near sutton over a hill lost control and hit a tree in the middle of the night… his honda fit turned into nothing but a tin can. he took his and his friends life. sad to say some people -often young- pay the price for being reckless. shit happens ---

alright you know its sad that a young guy got killed because he was showboating. but it bothers me that you all say 18 this and 18 that. his age has nothing to do wth it. you could be a 30 yr old who has never sat behind the wheel of a 50 horse car and still screw up. and just because someone is 18 doesnot mean that they cant handle high horsepower cars. my friend and i take out bhis dads viper and sl65 all the time. and we have never had one inicdent. have never been pulled over for speeding. and we have done that before. but we are totally safe. not a scratch on us or the car. so drop the age thing. because if anyone here had the chance to get behind the wheel o a powerhouse like the dodge viper im pretty sure they wouldnt be able to control it to well on their first lap around the block. ---

There are a couple of SON’lings on here with cars that dont even have a liscense yet, but 16 or 40 (however old the oldest member here is) this could happen to any one maturity isnt a substitute for experience as many take it for. Also, imagine what would happen to a 240 considering how structurally sound an m5 is in comparison. ---

^I think the polyurethane bumpers would make up quite a bit for the rest of the metals in some cases of impact… I mean you gotta admit bro, that material is gold for impacts, but not all tho. but still, when we get too out of hand we don’t know from our actions, the consequences till it’s too late… ☹ ---

do you guys remember Chris cambell? Took his dad’s AMG s55 out during after hours. 16 years old, went 110km down a 20km zone. hit a tree less than 2km from his driveway car exploded on impact. I believe mercedez actually sent the family another vehicle to make up for the loss of the son/last car. and i dont think his parents were held responsible. ---
