First off what a piece of shit. This is a common problem. Does anyone know of any motors laying around? just to get this thing running. It bend a rod and broke a piston. ford wants 2 weeks to get the piston and rod and $150. does anyone know anything about swapping the motors? to one with ztac? ---

call route 51 auto salvage. i just got a transmission for a ford focus there a few weeks ago. they had several ford focus’s. i would put another motor in before going through all the trouble of putting a piston in. ---

split ports suck! i would not reuse the old intake manifold! i’ve seen pieces of crap get stuck in them from engine failure and wipe out a new reman motor ---
