These threads don’t surprise me. If the car owners were caple of doing research,buying parts or even working on cars, Situations like this could have been avoided. But since they have the money to say “I’ll let someone else do the work” they got hosed by a company that saw an oppurtunaty to make money. :lol: Yahoo review CampbellUpdated on 04/14/13 They failed to put fluid back in my transmission and ran the car on their dyno unitl they broke the gear selector. Gave the car back to me, would not stay in 3rd gear. I contacted them and they would not do anything about it. Claimed they didn t touch the transmission, however my particular car (Lotus Elise) is impossible to remove the motor without pulling drive shafts from the transmission (wihich drains the fluid). Required a complete transmission rebuild. They also overtightened many bolts which were found upon rebuilding tranny. Front motor mount bolts were both striped, starter bolt, valve cover bolt, and bellhousing bolt. They had performed a full engine build with brand new block. They also blew the new motor rebuild on their dyno and I had to pay to rebuild it twice in their shop. Terrible customer service. Owner refuses to own any mistakes. ---

I simply posted a thread inquiring if the cost of machine work received was more expensive than other options. I call that shopping, but you can call it whining if you want.
