Haha, there’s this funny thing called a forklift license, when I got mine 3 years ago they did a background check, aparently you can’t get one if you have previous DWI charges? LOL ANYWAYS, HAHAHA that sucks, but I do that at work almost everyday I’m on the forklift, its just never important shit that I’m knocking over. ---

When I worked at a beer distributer as a sales rep, I had to ask one of the warehoue guys to get another pallet down so I could grab a few cases. The guy got the forklift and tried to pull one down but it got stuck on the pallet next to it and down it came right on top of the forklift… it was by far the coolest thing I have ever witnessed up close. Beer and bottles all over the place… it was awesome. ---

First off, you do not need a license to drive a forklift. Second, that appeared to be more a case of crappy shelving more than anything else. Kind of crazy that taking out one support took everything down. ---

I don’t know of any insurance companies that would allow my employees to drive without the required OSHA training and a license but, that was Russia. In Soviet Russia forklift drives you! ---

I know many places in Buffalo where people haven’t been trained to operate fork trucks but do… Some places make you watch the 1 hour OSHA approved video. Fork trucks are fun. I’ve seen legs of racks get taken out and nothing happens…good designs I guess. ---

But hey that is why most things are cheaper to make overseas. ---
