# Formula 1 racing to go Hybrid?

I don’t think it will be good for the mechanics because the guys on SPEED said in the pre race show it’s extremely dangerous to work on and people have already been hurt by it.

Funny thing about KERS is there are two ways to deploy it, one is at the flywheel (drivetrain loss) the other is DIRECTLY to the rear wheels.
And yes, there have been LOTS of problems. Red Bull factory had to be evacuated and BMW mechanic shocked and in serious condition are two off the top of my head. For those of you who dont know, carbon fiber conducts electricity like WHOA… and the driver sits in a carbon shell…
