Anyone who has ever spent more than 10 minutes on an automotive forum knows that a flame war is only one inflammatory comment away. Fanboys love to trash anything that doesn’t carry their badge of choice, but tread on their beloved marquee and the thread turns into Niagra Falls. But rather than frown upon the typical forum vitriol, a report from the [Autoblog Podcast veterans](http://www.autoblog.com/2010/03/16/autoblog-podcast-170-the-hooniverse-visits/) at the Hooniverse shows that _Speed TV_ plans to give these automotive fanatics some air time instead.
The new show is called “Forum Wars,” and the premise is to give these big talkers track access to replace wimpy words with tire-smoking action. You think your pristine [Dodge Challenger](http://www.autoblog.com/model/Challenger+SRT8) is better than a Mustang forum owner’s [Bullitt](http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/07/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-ford-mustang-bullitt/)? You may have a chance to take it to the track to decide who’s right, once and for all. The show is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Monday, April 5, with the inaugural episode pitting a [Shelby Mustang GT500](http://www.autoblog.com/model/shelby+gt500) against a [Nissan 350Z](http://autoblog.com/tag/350z). Drivers will hit the bends and take on the straightaways at a drag strip, so all bases are covered. What a dumb fucking idea…
just kidding…basically it’s just 2 members on a forum calling each other out then racing?
P.S. Niagara is spelled N-I-A-G-A-R-A, It irks me when it’s misspelled. Especially since I see it all the time working a couple blocks away from Niagara St.

I say that we get Jessie vs. a Rochester kid… It would be a great episode and get us a bunch of exposure.

I know a guy at work that is buddies with him, so he can get a hold of him! 😛
already got a bunch of exposure from that video, and it’s pretty viral already.

Getting on the show should be simple at that point, too. Just send them a that video, and a fallow-up at the end with Jessie just standing there waiting.

epic bump, watched a few episodes while bored at work. it seems like a good idea but they need more random cars.
It’s all the same cars matched up, sti vs. evo and vette vs. viper.
I wanna see some cars that are actually modded. more episodes like the supra vs. ford gt that was actually neat.
