I don’t think you guys spend enough time on other forums to realize how laid back it is here. Personal threats? They warrant a ban IMO. That’s just how it is. Personal attacks? Not so much I guess, that’s a beef that should be handled via pm. When shit starts to go down a mod should just say, PM eachother, or message on aim, keep it off of the forum. Done. If it continues, then a temp ban is in order. The racist shit? Well, that’s all up to Vlad IMO.

i said i dont spend enough time on other forums to see how strict they are, and thats right.
I visit my own websites / shift and facebook as far as social interaction on the interweb goes. no other forums that i am not a significant part of
The reason why i say when shit goes crazy hit me up is because everytime someone gets banned for being a knucklehead they USUALLY hit me up and theres a reason for that because i dont talk to them like their school teacher

You’re saying these rules will kill the forum but they’ve been around and nothing happened. Peope cry a river about a ban? It’s their fault, they knew the rule, they knew what’s going to happen, they need to be away for a few days. Whats the excuse you’re expecting to hear? Everybody has got a sob story.
You know what does kill a local forum
Bad reputation and lack of new members staying around. One feeds the other, and it’s happening now. You can proclaim you day of doom all you want, but this is a problem now. Many new members saying they we were warned about joining and or didn’t want to join. Many of them dont stick around. You saying “we don’t want them” is exactly how places die.

Just speaking for myself here, but I tend to think I’m pretty level headed when it comes to things. I think what everyone is saying, is this is a car community forum based around comradery. We all pick on each other and bust stones. It just seems you want things to be pretty strict when it comes to rules/how we talk to each other and people don’t like that. (Which is fine, it’s your place and all).
I’m with you on the whole personal attacks are not acceptable. We don’t need people getting into fights at the lot/pnr etc because of stupid shit said online to each other. Take that shit to PMs if you want to do it, personal blatant disrespect/foulness shouldn’t be tolerated.
What Wayne said is just Wayne being Wayne and didn’t seem out of context at all. He was busting stones, we all do it. This is a place for some of us to come and vent, talk shit, laugh just have a good time.
Just seems like you want this place to turn into Pee Wee’s Playhouse (sans the touching genitals).

I think the personal attacks should be limited as some of these idiots take it way to far. As far as the friendly name calling and ball busting is fine. I dont think Waynes comment was out of context as when you are dealing with a child you have to be agressive.

The guy was looking for help, he didn’t agitate anyone or did anything out of line, god forbid he posted in the “wrong” section which by a stretch could still be right.
Ball busing in a mature way is fine but when every thread I go into no matter what the subject just has you guys calling each other N this and Fa\*\*ot that it just makes me want to save money on my bill next month and not renew the server as I’ve worked way too hard and way too long to not even be able to achieve a mature discussion on the topic at hand.
Not even counting the fact that I don’t enjoy reading it, new members don’t either and they don’t want to join, further putting into question what exactly am I trying to build new stories in a building for when you guys are destroying the base.
You wanna have your fun? Go to the Random thoughts thread and call each other out there and do whatever you want, even go into SRS which I typically stay out of, but stop ruining every thread with bs.
