# frame rail repair

I have a 91 240sx that has frame rail rot under the firewall. i would like to know how to repair it properly, i do know how to do a patch job but i would like to do it write. so if someone can help me with the steps and what materials i need to do would be amazing. i love how just about any 240sx out there has major rust in that area.
