# Free eye exams anywhere?

Anyone know of any places that do free eye exams if you buy glasses or whatnot. I thought most places did this but apparently I was wrong. Was just told by LensCrafters that it costs $50.
If all else fails, I’ll just have it done in Canada where it won’t cost anything and buy the glasses there.

I have insurance, but no it doesn’t cover it. My Dad’s coverage in Canada still covers it, but only to $200, so I’m trying to get glasses and contacts to as close to that as possible.

Bro 200 bucks wont get you shit for glasses in Canada. I had a pair back in 00 that cost me about 400 bucks. All I got was scratch resistant lenses and a basic ass frame. Your better off staying on this side of the river.

I don’t know where the fuck you were shopping, but the glasses I was looking at weren’t anywhere near that much. My brothers scratch resistant glasses cost $90 in Canada.

lol. I’m not THAT bad. I definitely don’t need them to drive. However sitting in lecture halls at UB and trying to read the board is becoming increasingly challenging.

I do fall under that category. In fact my vision is so bad, I am near sighted and can’t even read the monitor without glasses or contacts. 😢

Why bother paying for it when I can get it somewhere for free. That’s just wasteful. Especially for someone in college who is only able to work part time.

Like stated before, Americas best. Just took the GF there and the exam was free and total for 2 pairs of glasses was like just over $80.

I think Walmart does free exams if you buy glasses. Never gone there for an eye exam but I thought I heard that before.
