# Friday TMP Open lapping

Since theres a Nelson thread, thought I would start a TMP thread.
I’m headed to TMP for open lapping tonight (6/20) to take the miata out on its maiden voyage. Anyone else want to shoot up with me? Prob be at the peace bridge around 3.

Car is loaded up on the trailer ready to go. Will be leaving around 4:30 but it doesn’t seem like there is much interest on here anyways.
Everyone must be busy parking lot pimping or racing for street cred.

lol, there is a lot if interest but week days and even Fridays are hard for some people with work, etc.

I’ll definitely hit one of these this summer. Helping a friend put rear shocks in his Volvo tonight though. Besides that I have to put new rotors on before I hit the track… pulsing from 80mph stops is bad, from 100+ I think it would shake the car apart.

I can’t this week. Have a TON of HW to do before the summer semester ends for me. Car needs a bunch of work before I try cutting any decent times (for me that is) there again let alone seat time.

Every year I put it on the list and every year I get too.busy. Gotta figure out a way to get it done.

I got there around 6 and stayed til about 9. It runs 5pm-Dusk and is $100 if you don’t preregister. I’d say about 25 cars total, I got a ton of seat time in.
