selling my 10" type x in a coustom box built by electronics warehouse in saratoga
i have the sub hooked up in my car right on on a kicker zx1000.1
the box is pretty small and relitively light so it leaves a small foot print
but box i tell you, it slams
it was louder than my buddies pair of type r 12’s in a prefab best buy box
im asking 225 obo or trade for a simillar sub
or ill throw some cahs your way if needed
pics will be up tomorrow when i get out of work
i will meet you anywhere, ill even come to your house if its not too far away
i prefer to meet between exits 2e and 21 on the northway
i live off exit 13n so im pretty much in the middle

more the custom built box for a type x vs a box that is starving the type r for air. no box best buy sell gives rs enough air, they are going to give the minimum at most.
given the right environment, 2 type rs or 1 type x should be very comparable (1000w rms both) but the type rs would move more air cause theres 2 of them instead of one.

i heard my other friends pair of r 12’s in 3.5 tuned to 32 and it moved less air than my x
i was surprised, you are right thugh 24" of cone areea \> 10" of cone area
but the x KILLS the lows…
