ok well i figure ill post it early in-case anyone wants a winter project…
i have for sale ax xs650 “special II” i have owned it for 3 years and have replaced a lot to get it where you see it.
bike has 11,000 miles
the bike has good compression
a new battery
new sparkplugs
replaced the wiring harness
cleaned the carbs like 2 years ago
mac 2 into 1 exhaust
clubman handlebars
replaced the front rotor with a stock one
ebc pads up front
replaced rear shocks
mini bar mounted mirror
new clutch cable
new throttle cable
custom tank thanks to “pintos’ paint works op, ny”
new rear footpeg (old one was cracked…they are rubber)
new clutch cable
now i know you are all going to critisize the seat but its just a block of styrofoam under the vinyl to give it more of a hump and keep you from sliding back when you are hunched over riding. so if you dont like it you can take it off.
i will also include some straight flanders bars w/12 degree sweep if you cant take the clubman style…your choice.

sorry dont think ive been to akron ever actually. the bike is at my place in the city in the garage. although i usually ride the bike everywhere i go in the summer…
nobody needs cheap reliable transportation?

For $1500 you should probably fix the head gasket, but it looks good none the less !

Well its obo, plus i think all the work ive put in it warrant the 1500. Thats the **only** thing thats wrong with it. Other than that its great…it runs, drives, shifts, idles, etc etc no worries.
