I’m not even sure where to start…
$4500 As-Is
1987 RX-7 (No E-test required)
Metallic Grey
Originally a GX
Approx. 235,000 km on the body
Dyno’d at 158 rwhp last fall untuned
Handles and drives great
I only drove it during the summer, stored during the winter for past 3 years
Soooo much work done to make a super reliable and fun car!!! Unfortunately with school and a wedding to pay off right now this isn’t a priority…

Engine:
~30,000km on a Rotary Dynamics rebuild 3 seasons ago
S4 NA Keg
S5 NA Intake
5/6th actuators work
VDI functions properly
OMP and EGR blocked off
I’ve run good premix on this motor since I removed & blocked off my OMP
Custom short intake with K&N cone filter (cleaned/oiled every spring)
Replaced all vacuum hoses with blue silicone
CSF all metal radiator
Silicone rad hose
Engine bay cleaned up

Drivetrain:
T2 ACT Streetlite 12.5 lb flywheel
T2 Clutch
T2 JDM Transmission
T2 LSD
T2 rebuilt half shafts
Royal Purple Tranny Fluid & LSD Fluid
Mazdatrix Short Shifter
Russell speed bleeder installed on clutch slave

Ignition/ECU:
Mazdatrix blue spark plug wires
NGK spark plugs
RTek 2.1 programmable ECU with Palm M515 (datalogs, adjust fuel, timing, etc…)
I still have the stock ECU lying around as well
NGK AFX Wideband O2 sensor, hooked up to the ecu so the RTek can log and monitor AFR’s
Reman’d Alt

Exhaust:
Racing beat headers
Stainless steel Brullen dual exhaust cat back with 2.5” resonator/piping

Fuel:
New gas tank last year
New hard lines last year
Secondary injectors professionally cleaned
S5 fuel rails
Fuel Cut switch

Brakes:
Upgraded to GXL/T2 brakes when the previous owner did the 5 bolt conversion
T2 4Pot front callipers
Corksport stainless steel flex lines
Hard lines replaced last year
Russell speed bleeders installed on all callipers (6 total)
Hawk HPS pads
Replaced Master cylinder this year

Steering & Suspension:
17”x 8” Super Advan rims
Rebuilt Manual steering rack by Rotary Dynamics last year
KYB AGX’s all 4 corners
Tein camber plates up front
RSR Race springs
T2 sway bars front/rear
Energy polyurethane bushings all around
Every bushings/bearing was replaced in the rear end last year (EVERY ONE)
DTSS Eliminators
Competition motor & tranny mounts (just a bit harder then stock)
Racing Beat front adjustable endlinks
Mazdatrix rear camber adjuster
Powdercoated/paint rear sub-frame
Corksport rear strut tower bar
Trust Front strut tower bar (not installed)

Exterior:
T2 aluminum hood
JDM rare reverse vented hood scoop
S5 Turbo aero mirrors

Interior:
Redline black leather shifter and E-brake boots
Custom stereo surround
Blue anodized turn style e-brake button
Autometer water temp and oil pressure gauges
Replaced old roken vent grilles with new ones
Sunroof works
No A/C

Paint and some of the interior is a little rough, I never got a chance to focus on the those parts of this project. A little rust on the rear fenders, 1 bubble on the sun roof. Underbody is in alright shape. INT wiper doesn’t work, but I have a spare switch and relay to fix that problem. Has the 3800 rpm hesitation. Idiot light surround is broken, I’m trying to source a replacement.

If I get my asking price or close to it I will also include a bunch of spare parts not yet installed:
Good condition blue leather Vert seats with the stereo headrests
Racing beat Stainless steel oil cooler lines with AN fittings and a spare great condition oil cooler
E-Fan
Spare manifolds and other parts
Complete set of coolant hoses

My goal with this car was to build an extremely reliable and strong car, which I think turned out pretty good. I’ve daily driven this car for the past 3 summers and it hasn’t let me down. I’m sure I’ve missed details on some of the work that has been done. A lot of time was spent on this car…

Here is a build thread where you can still see some photos from my build up and read up on some of it’s history

Please PM or e-mail me @ [momentum\_k@hotmail.com](mailto:momentum_k@hotmail.com) if you have any questions

I don’t have a camera so It would take a day or two to get more photo’s uploaded.

I only have insurance on it for a couple more weeks, if it doesn’t sell this season I will store it and put it back up for sale in the spring.

I would sell it for $4000 without the spare parts listed.
