Someone help me, did I just read that?

I took a deposit but will break the contractual agreement with the current buyer if someone else gives me more cash?

I can’t comment if that is legal or not but I hope the current buyer got a bill of sale with a singed receipt indicating that a deposit was received by the seller.

For the love of god, what are parents teaching their children.
