1990 Audi V8 Quattro
3.6l 32valve V8, PT engine code
4 speed automatic: sport, economy and manual shift modes
Quattro III AWD (torsen center, front and rear diffs)
Leather sport seats, power (another set of leather seat come with it as well)
Bose speakers, Nakamichi CD400 in dash cd player (2006)
The story:
The car has 191,XXXmiles. Recent work (within the last 4months ) include: New front and rear brakes(calipers, rotors and pads) (front UFO’s, with 12.3in effective braking surface), new ebrake cables, new brake lines, and fuel lines, new brake accumulator. Timing belt has been done within the last 30,XXXmiles, looks fine, new tensioners. Car comes with 4 new blizzak WS-50’s on OEM Audi steel wheels, made for Audi’s with ufo front brakes. Stock wheels also included.
Car pulls strong, trans shifts perfectly, no clunks or rattles in the suspension.
The down side: It’s a V8, and around town gas mileage is dismal. On the highway, with the cruise set to 80, car gets mid 20’s. The door locks don’t work ($23.00fix), but the alarm does. Windows all go down and come back up, sunroof works. AC does not work (needs condensor).
Car is AMAZING in the snow, and pulled me around ski country all winter. Body is in great shape, a couple of spots, the clear coat is chipping, no rot what so ever (its an Audi, double sided galvanized body panels).
