I’ll know more as of thursday if I get the car. I am picking up a lot newer for a DD. If get the car, this will be forsale. Just seeing if there is any interest. 1991 Jetta GLI 162K on the clock. Body is in OK shape. I have a good trunk lid I need to put on, old one is rusted, along with a new bumper cover from when I was lightly rearended a few months ago. Car runs pretty good, time for the break down. This is Steve the parts guys old car! Good Clean interior with next to mind recaros. Driver side has a small burn whole in it from previous owner before Steve. Runs good, it boggs once in a while, but haven’t the time to look into it. I have put 40k on it and the only time it left me stranded was friday night when the starter went. New parts: New starter as of saturday head gasket, valve cover gasget, and valve seals done 18 months ago new rear wheel bearings new rear rotor on pass side i think and pads TT stainless downpipe with cat delete a year old along with TT almuminum exhaust about 4 months old Rebuilt distributer a month ago. Timing belt, water pumop and pulley down 45k miles ago. It has SHINE SRS suspension which is a great set up. Autotech chip Lightened Flywheel Newer clutch before I bought it for what i was told. Steve might chime in and list some of the things he did. Other misc. things have been done that I have forgot about and will list them when i find receipts and remember. New tires as of July Bad Body is a little rusty, mainly on the doors. Trunk lid which i have arust free black one to put on. Boggs once in a while, haven’t had time to look into yet. Burns a little oil, but leaks it, guessing valve cover gasget or oil pan, once again, I haven’t had time to look into it. Needs e-brake cables as well. Exhaust rattles a little, will fix before its sold though, just haven’t had time. I am going to get the bumper cover, trunk lid, and exhaust fixed before its sold, along with other little things. It also needs door handles which i got working ones here for, along with heater control that I have. Interior will be detail as well. I also have snow tires that I will throw in for a little more money. Looking for 1700 or best offer. Need to get Credit card paid off so I can save up for new toy. Also has sunroof, cd player, working MAF, shift bushings and linkages were also done, along with the one thats a pain in the ass just above the exhaust.
