can’t really tell if the transfer case is good without driving it on snow or something. jack the back end of the car up and see if power goes to the front wheels

its been a long time since I posted in this thread…the 89 is sold but the 96 is still for sale if anyone is interested. It’s a nice car for the money, PM me for more info
