# FS: 1996 ford ranger 5 speed

1996 Ford Ranger 2wd 5 speed manaul Transmission
-4 cylinder, great on gas got me about 30 mpg
-Has a nice little sound to it
-5 Speed, clutch grips very good
-134,000 miles
-needs oil change in 1500 miles
-new tires all the way around
-New fuel Filter
-New Spark plugs-Autolite plugs
-No rust anywhere on the vehicle
-No Radio but wireing harness is already in there
-Heat blows hot
-A/C Blows very cold
-Truck Starts up Everytime, Never had a problem with it starting
-Needs Rear Brakes, estimated about $120 possibly cheaper if you know how to do them yourself
-Front brakes are fairly new
-Inspected until august of 2009
-Inside is very clean
-the inside of the truck is no longer red i had it sprayed black so it looks normal now
Looking for around $2200 but there is room is reason if i get a reasonable offer

I’ve never drove a ranger, but how is the 2wd in the snow?
Does it come with a head unit or no?
Do the rear brakes just need shoes? It is rear drum right?

this is my buddie truck
its pretty good in the snow he currently had 3 sand bags and a little lower tire pressure and it moved decently.
im pretty sure non head unit will come with it.
and the rear drums need shoes wheel cylinders and the housing i think

Protege plus cash? I’ve been wanting a small truck and the only reason I bought the protege was because it was the best deal at the time. I gotta some cash together but this thing isn’t too far from the same value as the truck, dealer wanted 2K for it which was crazy but i’d put it at a value of at least 1500+

cause it had no plates and cause the back brakes are done so it doesnt really stop you that well
