# FS: 2001.5 Ford Ranger 2.3L Duratec NOS motor

Again, doubt any NYSpeeder’s need this, but: I have a Duratec 2.3L, DOHC, 4cyl longblock. Complete from intake to pan. No accesories (alt, PS pump, bracketing, etc). Does have an auto flywheel, Injectors, sensors, intake, etc.  
Same block as Focus & Mazda 3/6 motors. Heads are different castings as well as intakes & motor mounts, etc.

This is a “New Old Stock” motor.

This motor has never been installed into a car/truck. Never fired. Hell, prolly never turned over.

I bought it for a project a year ago, but a local shop stiffed me on some Fabrication work. I dont need this motor taking up space in the garage.

$500. I have an engine lift here for the moment, and I have a pickup. We can arrange something. This all alum motor is light anyhow. Psychopjv and I carried it easily.

I also have a Bellhousing that will bolt this motor to a Ford T5 Trans.

I got it from a reputable streetrod place that makes these for custom jobs.

It was, and is, $425 + shpi new from [Q4R.com](http://www.quad4rods.com/Catalougue.pdf) page 4 of 6.

It’s a very nice fully machined piece.
