Bad news! We were driving at about 1030 tonight on our way out of the park for a little cruise, anyways were driving down Sherwood Park freeway at about 100km/h and in a split second the hood smashed up against the windsheild. We pulled over to find out that the carbon fiber hood is mashed beyond being 100 percent repaired but the windsheild and paint appear to be ok. There is no cracks in the windsheild which is I guess one good thing that came out of it. For the first day having the car out I feel pretty bad for the guy! if anyone has a white silvia hood for the guy let me know. Thanks alot Dan ---

Sad to say this did happen :sad What a depressing end to an amazing day with this car. If anyone has a carbon fiber hood for this car please let me know i would love one asap. I really do not want to wait around for one to be shipped so hopefully someone here has one. And hood pins would be great too!!! Thanks, Brandon ---

I saw the car driving on river valley road and then up 116st at about 8:45 last night when I was on Victoria Gold Course. It is sad to hear about this as you always have to make sure your hood it latched and locked especially with aftermarket hoods as they can never fit as nice as OEM. Yea it is terrible that i already need a new hood. For the next one i am going to always double check it is fully latched and get hood pins. It was worth that much? :sad But yes i do believe it is too damaged to fix. Parts of it at least. ---

Fuckin shitty. Ive heard of this happening to CF hoods with no pins b4. Spend a little $$ and get the pins!!! I guess you dont really need to hear that now. ---

Shiety deal. happended to me 3 years ago with oem hood, thanks to a someone not closing the latch fullyā€¦ I endded up having to get a new hood and a new windshield as well as repaint the roof. That was freaken scarry. ---

Try buying it and getting it here for under $1000 ---
