# FS- 96 VW Passat Vr6 5 speed wagon 2400

1996 VW passat Vr6 172 HP wagon  
5 speed  
Runs very well, very quiet.  
4dr wagon  
Black with tan cloth interor  
Drives well.  
143k  
a few dings here and there, nothing major, no rust.  
new plugs, wires, tune up  
Alloy (factory) wheels  
4 wheel disc brakes  
new battery  
Needs-  
1 new tire (has 2 EC conti sport contacts mounted in the rear, and 1 brand new Dunlop sp5000 tire not installled. Needs 1 matching sp5000 for the ft) currently has pretty bald snows w/steelies in the ft.  
2 rear rotors are rusty- need replacement  
needs 2 ABS sensors, or the contacts to be cleaned on the DS. ABS light is on, and VAG COM has codes for sensors. Can be fixed when rotors are replaced easily.  
Strut bearings make a very slight clunking when going over small bumps, otherwise, suspension is tight.  
_may_ need a motor mount…

Lots of new parts, and a mostly complete service history. Previous owner always used Synthetic oil, and it shows.

for the $2400, I will replace the above parts if you buy them. I currently am tight on cash, and have been driving the car daily.

Clean title in hand.

The plus wires don’t fit because they are sheathed, 8mm wires, factory wires were 7mm and fit in the little plastic grooves. I am going to remove the sheathing and trim the grooves so they fit better.

bump for a good dude/solid car. put a blower on it and have a 300+ whp grocery getter lol.
