# FS: 97 Ford Contour

Figure I’ll see if anyone wants this heap before I call some junking company to come pick it up.
97 Ford Contour with 126kmi on the clock
Runs great when it acctualy starts, needs a new starter
Needs an 02 sensor as well
Valve cover leaks, I’ve done 2 oil changes on it so far and the oil was just above the MIN level on the dipstick each time, needs new gasket
Throws 2 codes, EVAP and an 02 Code
Body is pretty solid rust wise, not really any on it, Rear drive side door is pushed in at the bottom, front passenger fender is pushed in. Other than that it aint bad, needs a good cleaning
Interior is decent, little dirty but with a good cleaning would look good
If anyone wants to throw a few hundred bucks at it, would probably be a great beater, up until the starter issue and aside of the small valve cover leak it ran great, transmision is strong and shifts without hesitation (which suprised me)
Not the prettiest car but for a few hundred bucks I figured someone may want it.
I payed 500 for the car, I could put 300 bucks into it and have a decent running car but im sick of having junk…
Chances are it will start so you can drive it home, always seems to start after sitting for 2-3 hours and cooling down

$200 bucks its yours as thats what the junkers were going to give me, come get it ASAP
the motor seems to be very solid, dident hiccup once, ran fine… just the damn valve cover leak
when can you come get it?
btw its in clifton park and chances are you could prolly drive it home, I started it today… hopefully itll start again, the starter is picky
