First off let me say the car needs nothing, turnkey and go, passed NYSI a few weeks ago. I am selling because I am starting a new job with the state and am going to be driving considerbly farther than my old job. I will consider trades for a more economical car, the Vic gets aprox 18 city and 24 highway so it will have to do better than that. Also The car would have to be a 94 or newer and also be turnkey I dont have time for projects or money for repairs… Some info on the Vic- Its a 1998 P71 Police package car, it is originally from Ohio until aprox 18 months ago. It currently has 116k on it. 4.6L 281ci 2V The car has a rusted out spot on the front fender (design flaw from Ford where the lip holds salt and whatever else helps it rust), has some surface rust else where but is solid, it has no holes underneath. It runs and drives great, in the past few months I have replaced 3 coils on it, it has new back brakes (rotors, calipers, pads, parking brake ect), new wheel sensors, had a replacement set of cats put on it. kinda off topic but just a question… Do people still speed around you? and does it give you less chance of a ticket? ---

I actually just got my first speeding ticket in 8 years in it, for a measly 9 over the limit, but I think the cop has a grudge against me… Some people speed others freeze up and do 5 under while your behind them…On the other hand its great to drive in the passing lane on the Thruway and watch everyone signal and move over : ) ---

if i had extra money i’d totally buy that!!! Its gotta suck driving around town with everyone going exactly the speed limit…i know i drive different when i see a crown vic in my rear view. ---

[/quote] It shocks me when people fly by me , I mean I am not a cop but I sure as hell wouldnt chance it around a police looking Vic, especially when its dark out and you cant see who’s behind the wheel… The car has a non-working spotlight (can be easily swapped out) and a small antenna on the roof, I have center caps for it but I guess you need some kind of collared lug nuts to hold them on (about $25 for a set of 20) It had the lolipop brake lights in the rear window so I am assuming a new set would be plug and play, all the holes are drilled ect That might slow a few more people down :headbang: ---

trade for a 94 altima 35 plus mpg 5 speed 160,000. custom red and gold tear design a little rust but new rear end and professionally maintained. ---

4v heads are you nuts? On that old shortblock? Seriously, you could spend 900 bucks and get a 2004-2005 2v motor with like 5k miles on it, that would be the swap for this thing. ---

totally Ot but have you ever done a U turn , flew up on someone and made them think they are getting stopped? Also does it come equipped with the police flood light? Sorry for the dumb ? but i have to ask for a nice “one -time” police car. GLWS ---

GLWS [/quote] lol Everytime I pull out of a cross street I fly up on people sometimes people act mad guilty around you, hell one time I had someone cross the median on the thruway and up the wrong way of an on ramp for no apparent reason Tempting to chase but no lol and yeah it has a spotlight ---
