Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III USM Telephoto Zoom Lens
I really liked this lens until I got my 70 – 200 F2.8IS lol.
Info:
The lightest 4x telephoto zoom lens in its class. Ideal for sports, portraiture, animals, etc. The telephoto effect can make the picture look compressed or have excellent background blur. At the 300mm focal length, you can fill the frame with a postcard from 4.9’ away. The Micro-USM autofocus motor is quick, compact and quiet.

EF-S 17-85mm IS USM Lens
This is the lens that came with my 40D and I have maybe used 3 times.
Info:
The EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens provides a 5x zoom ratio and an angle of view equivalent to a 27-136mm lens on a 35mm camera. The new lens also uses a glass-molded aspherical lens element with aspherical surfaces on both sides for superb image quality throughout the entire zoom range and it features a closest focusing distance of 30 cm at all focal lengths. The EF-S 17-85mm IS lens is 5% shorter and 12% lighter than the EF 28-135mm IS lens and accepts 67mm filters.

Canon Speedlite 430EX
I used this with my XTi but have not used it since I got my 40D since I bought a 580 EX II with it.
Info:
This exciting addition to the EOS System combines compact size and affordability with an added dose of features and sophistication. Improving on the previous model, Speedlite 420EX, the 430EX can now be set into manual flash mode (full power~1/64). Flash compensation can be set on the flash unit, and manual control of the flash zoom head is now possible. Improvements in its circuitry make recycle time 40% faster, and since it is compatible with Canon’s wireless E-TTL, it can be used as an affordable “slave unit.”

Bower 0.42X HD Super Wide Angle
Used this with my XTi and with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom
With a 35mm lens on the XTi it gives a full frame fisheye effect and a 24mm lens it has a full circular 180 degree effect. The edges are soft but at apertures f8 and above it is reasonably sharp and for what I need it for I couldn’t beat the price. Not as nice as a true fisheye lens, but won’t break the bank either.
