Like title says, I have a USED escort passport 8500 x50 radar detector for sale. I bought brand new-in-box on eBay. It’s only about a month old (i.e.-VERY fresh firmware), just selling as I want to get some funds for a V1 instead. It works great, but meh, finally have enough money w/selling it and these don’t depreciate too bad, so I figured I’d get the 8500 til I could afford a V1. It comes with the power cord, owner’s manual, attachment hardware, and that hefty case they come in. It’s in excellent shape (no reason why it shouldn’t be, pretty much brand new). Red LED display. I’m looking to get $200 out of it, that’s usually what used ones w/red display go for on eBay. Don’t bother lowballing, if I don’t get $200 I’ll just sell it on eBay instead. PM me if you’re interested. Just took it on a trip to NC last week, and man - let me tell you, it works pretty good. Much cheaper than a speeding ticket. Don’t listen to Skunk. It is not under the V1… only in resale value because the V1 is over rated. The 8500 is superior. ---

I paid 200 for my 8500 last year sometime… haven’t had a ticket since. And my avg before that was 3 a month. ---

Cause some of us didn’t fall for the hype of arrows on our detector. 75% of the reviews I read said the better detector was the 8500… and something SilverGTP pointed out to me, is when it is hard wired, it works even better. used V1s go for 300-350 bux… new 400+ … why? 8500s go for 200 used everyday… but because a select few praise the V1 and it saved their lives… and fed their families… that it is the #1 detector you can buy. In reality it is the #2 detector… and #1 in re-sale. I don’t know why… ---
