this car has the 12V not the 30V in the 98 and older models
Great looking car and lots of fun to drive but definitly not a speed demon

in the snow too, and since you know your audi’s you can tell everyone how strong the 2.8 v6’s are.

Now that I think about it, your car was grey wasn’t it? Mine is purple, but it’s the good purple out of the 2 options. I’m kinda worried about the miles, but still sorta interested. Pm me if you’re considering a trade.

The 2.8 is bullet proof, I have seen many go into the 200k. Also quattro plus snow tires = snow mobile. The only complaint I usually hear is that there are very few mods available compared to the 1.8T and the 30V.

Just wanna say that for this price this is a good deal. The 2.8s are workhorse engines and like bigron said, it’s practically bulletproof. I would move on this car except I already have an A6 2.8 🙂
If you want an Audi and want a really reliable daily driver, you can’t beat the 2.8 V6. Only problem areas on the 2.8s were the control arms. Also, as with any Audi change the TB and water pump every 60-70K.
