it will perform just as well as the newer models because it is a higher end model.

it was a higher end model now its a 3 year old laptop with bottom end parts. i bought my XPS 2 years ago upgraded everything that could be upgraded and the only thing left thats above average is the 250gb HD, actually thats even to small now. my video card was like $800 now they are prob around $100. computer parts are worse then cars in resale whats top of the line today will be outdated and worth 1/8 of what it cost in a month.
