RE: " bad clutch" 250 thosand on a clutch is a lot of stops and starts, the motor was still babbied since new, anyways i am willing to take less i have understood what its worth, when varun and i are done with my sr install the engine will be ready for pick up " approx 2 to 3 weeks "

The reason why people find 500 for an engine with tranny to be too much, is that people on SON are generally douchebags, and try to rip you off and lowball you any chance they get. I’m not going to comment on whether I think your price is good or not, but from experience, even when I’ve been selling something BNIB at nearly half of what it normally goes for, I’ve still gotten lowballs.

afaik, they are all transversely mounted engines… so the head is different cuz of the distributer and so is the transmission of course…

useless KA engines to someone with a 240… of course you could swap one of those into an altima (U13) or something…[/quote]

whatever , not useless , front cover and cams need to be changed thats all, ka is a ka is a ka
