I just got this in the mail, only to find out that it is not going to work with my older xplod headunit that isn’t ipod ready. I need a special sony ipod connector. I’m asking $15 for it. It obviously connects an ipod (compatible with all ipods) to your headunit using 2 rca (aux) inputs. This unit with also charge your ipod at the same time. Lmk if you’re interested …
