its a 180amp unit, its rated at 1/4" steel/aluminum. but I did some 3/8 steel with a 1/8" tungsten and it was fine. aluminum it will get up there around 3/8" or so if you preheat the shit out of it. Its got some balls IMO.

I used the 165 unit ASS has when i put a 1/2" plate onto 1/4" plenum for my intake. I maxed it out and preheated it with a torch and it was penetrating just fine I would say. so the 180amps would be just fine.
