i think all of them are actually intelligent questions. i can see surface rust on all the underbody pics too, and the one frame is bent up on the bottom. if it sat in a barn for 5 years it should be clean underneath, with the weather not able to get at it. head-gasket going after only 38k is definitely sketchy… etc. etc. etc. i think these are all very pertinent questions and are all things that **I** would want to know if i was looking to buy this car. it’s clean, yeah, but Nate\_Drake’s hatch with twice the KM is WAY cleaner. and what’s this about a 3 ft drop? i smell shenanigans… ---

oh nos iv been found out. 1. after sitting in a barn for 5 years all the undercoating drys up and starts to flake. but you know clean metal dos not rust at all. 2. the timing chain broke and this guy replaced it but it still blew smoke thus WHY it went away. 3. the motor dose not run at all, i have just been pushing the car to meets and work whilst making sounds like a motor to make ppl think it runs. again nobody on son has the money for this chassis and i dont expect it to be sold here. i do not want to sell it. but unfortunately mommy and daddy dont buy me everything i need so bills and rent come first. if anybody wants to ask another question about this car such as why the lug nuts look used but the car only has 40k on it they can keep it to them damn selves. or better yet lock this thread and now son members will no longer be welcomed buyers. ---

i was thinking about coming to see this car after you called me and told me how immaculate it was, these pictures show alot of rust, how can you call a car showroom condition when its covered in underbody rust? Also if i was going to consider buying this car i would not pay 4500 for a car that i would have to replace all bushings endlinks control arms (as you cannot buy ball joints seperate) and any and all other rubbers that would wear irregularly fast after sitting for a long period of time, also the axels would likely not last long after sitting that long. I am still interested to have a look but pm me and let me know about your pricing because to me its going to need some serious repairs so for 4500 id rather buy a 200,000 km sr swapped car thats had regular maintenance done and just not winter driven. like i said PM me if you want to sell it for a fair price. ---

Metal oxidizes when left out in moisture. Moisture is not limited to winter. Barn = not completely safe from moisture = small amounts of rust. Not hard to understand… ---

The car is mint… If a car has no undercoating it will eventually darken at the seams and surface rust will show… Doesn’t matter what car it is… Chassis would be good for a drift car build… Look at Briggs s14… Much newer than this with the same km on it… Throw an rb in the bitch and drift it. Free bump. ---

i realize i didn’t fully think through some of the things i posted before i pressed “submit”. i apologize to the seller if any offense was taken. it was not intended. i am not trying to “call you out” or anything, but these are all questions that you will be fielding from ANY prospective buyer, so why not have them out in the open so any prospective buyers that DO happen to come across the car on here will not have to ask them again and again? honestly though (even though you’re SO cock-sure that nobody from here can afford your glorious car), you have a piss-poor attitude for someone looking to sell a car. like i said, these are all questions that you will be fielding from other people (from kijiji etc.) anyways…are you going to react the same way to the same questions from non-SON members? (again, no offense intended). i would pay $4500 for a showroom condition, running OEM S13. i would pay about $2000 for this one, IF that. oh, but i can’t, because mommy and daddy don’t buy everything for me either, which is why i’m driving a fucking Volkswagen right now. watch what you assume about people. /end rant ---
