Testing Waters
Up for grabs is my Nikon D70 digital SLR camera. This ad is for the body only, no lenses! Check ebay for some great deals on lenses such as the 50mm 1.8f, 28-80mm Nikkor (used for the shot below), etc.
The camera recently had the CCD cleaned by Nikon in Richmond, BC when I was out there less than a month ago. I have the receipt to prove if needed.
Firmware is version 2.0, making it technically a D70s.
There are no blemishes on the camera what so ever…it’s MINT! No scratches on the screens or any burnt pixels. There is however a bit of dust in the view finder but it does not affect image quality at all.
Opanda clocks the camera at 25,684 actuations to date.
Here is an example of the shots this camera can produce, with a zoom in added to prove clarity:
Because of it’s condition, I’m looking to get $450 for it with a 2gig Sandisk Ultra2 card. Again, I can add the 70-300mm for an extra $100 if someone is interested. The reason for selling is because I am planning to do a lot of traveling and I want to move to a camera with a grip (D80 or D200) for the extra battery life and vertical shot ease.

Firmwear does not make it a d70s it fixes the 5 area af

and by the way I have a D70s that is the only reason that i disagree with your saying basically a D70s
