will plug and play in any ek civic, including hatchbacks it sits in the lower section above the cup holder.

thanks matty, id be rocking this if i didnt have my kenwood.They are made by pioneer and read just about any cd.

Except MP3’s I assume.
Any actual pics of it?
Blue plug or Grey plug on the back. Just want to be sure exactly what it is.

ill get one tonight it has the gray plug. It plays burned cds and i want to say it plays mp3’s but ive never tried.

To my knowledge no 96-00 Civic Cd player played MP3’s.
Is this strictly a CD player or is this a Cd/radio head unit?
This may only work in 96-98 Civics and not in 99-00 Civics if it has the Grey plug.
Still interested in seeing it.

yea it might not play mp3’s then, I meant itl play almost any cd as in scratched up lol.It is just the cd player that sits in the slot right behind the cup holders on 96+ civics. Ill get pics up shortly my camera sucks.
