Well, i’m sure the gear ratios and other major design specifications didn’t drastically change from 96 to mid 01. I just wanted to know if you knew (when the trans was in a vehicle) that it shifted without any issues - bent shift forks, worn synchros, bearings, etc. stuff like that.
