is the car kit good for a pioneer headunit? mine is pioneer and says XM READY, so i think it should work?

Micah - this will work with anything that has a radio with an FM tuner… if you want it to be CONTROLLED by your pioneer headunit you need to buy a direct tuner like this:

FYI, i would not recommend the direct tuner unless you have a pioneer navi unit or something as the controls will probably suck.

nice unit, I have the same one in my car. Make sure that you use the antenna clip on thing that comes with it. Trying to grab a signal over the air without it sucks ass (constant interference).
with it, it works like a charm though
