Selling my VQ35DE MY06+ motor as I’m in the midst of swapping in a VK56 into my 350z. Motor was installed into my Z in April of this year with just under 8k miles on it, it was a dealer pull out due to the car it came from suffering a heavy rear end accident. I put approximately 11 track hours on the motor this season. It burns ZERO oil. Here are the leakdown and compression numbers for the motor when COLD.
175 - 8%
174 - 9%
188 - 4%
186 - 11%
186 - 3%
182 - 2%
All leakdown pressure was through the crankcase, absolutely zero through the coolant passages, intake, or exhaust valves.
Included:
'06+ Wiring Harness for intake and exhaust variable cams
'06+ ECU
Intake Manifold with injectors
All sensors
All accessories (minus Air Con, I obviously didn’t have that)
Stillen Shorty Headers
Motordyne Plenumn Spacer
Stock Starter
There are some more things included that you can see in the photos. It’s a complete swap as I pulled it from my car, the basic list is to just give you an idea of what is included. The motor had it’s oil changed with Redline Racing 10w-40 every 3 track days (so approx. every 3-4 hours). The motor is strapped down to a wooden jig we’ve been using to transport VQ35’s. It can be shipped freight at the buyer’s expense, insured of course, or I would be happy to meet a buyer in Buffalo or in the Leesburg VA or Newtown PA areas for a few extra dollars. I’ve tried to disclose as much as I know about this motor, if you have any questions feel free to PM me.
