This thread is really market research.
I made one set for my car and thought there might be a market for them.
The reason I call them universal is because they will fit any bolt circle.
They are 1/2’ thick which is nice too because a lot of the ones available now are only 5mm or 10mm.

I would appreciate any feedback.
What seems like a fair price?

Disclaimer: Don’t ever use spacers (especially thick ones) without the proper length bolts/studs.

If you can’t tell by the picture they are actually 5 individual pieces for each wheel.

 What capabilities do you have as far as machining?

I Can’t bore engines.
Pretty much anything else I can do.(Within reason)
As far as tolerances - +/-.0002"
We make airplane parts so car parts are well within our realm.🙂

We are looking at quoting a part that weighs 1400lbs right now.
We have never done anything that large.:biglaugh:
Our large mill is 40" x 20 x 16?"
Our large lathes are 12" chuck

I have finally hired a photog to get more pictures of our capabilities on our website.

I would be interested in your product, but do you make a 4 lug version?

Honestly they whould be priced about 1/2 to 1/3 or less of comparable one piece units.

Ummmmmm, I assume you are joking.
Did you see the picture?

I will have to check how much 1/2" cost.
The nice thing about these is the versatility.
It seems I am always changing cars and wheels.

That is the funny part, I actually made wheel adaptors that have studs AND I stacked spacers on those.
The parts I (my company) made are so exact that I don’t need hub rings.:pimp:
I should get a picture of all these parts put together like a precision club sandwich.:biglaugh:
If you saw it you would be like :jawdrop:“I can’t believe that works!”

They could also be turned to your spec thickness for extra :pimp: fit.

My wheel base is 2" wider (and 2" lower with the coil overs)

Nice concept. This is kind of OT but would you be able to turn out a set of hubcentric rings? I hate having plastic ones. Even though I know that once the lugs are tight the wheel isnt moving, it just bothers me.

For price comparison, 15mm H&R hubcentric spacers run about $95/pair.

^1/2" thick?

These would be quite a bit cheaper.(Like half)
Like I said I don’t even use hub centric.
Maybe with cheap wheels you need them.:gotme:
It seems like in this day and age any wheel company should be able to machine a concentric bolt circle.:bloated:

if they’re being made out of carbon steel I’d guess approx 226.74g/cc (about .5 lbs per unit)

^Don’t you recognize Aluminum when you see it?😃

They are much lighter than the rings because there is less un-needed material.
Good selling point, thanks.

what is alloy? i think it’s around 2.8g/cc or something like that

Yeah, I mean I can sell them individually or a set of 8 or 10 or 16 or 20 or w/e.

I haven’t determined price yet because it is really quantity sensative.
If I end up making 1000 of them at a crack they will be much cheaper than if I only make 50 of them.

I can anodize them in flashy colors too.:pimp:
