microsoft warranties all 360’s for 3 years (for the 3 rings of death problem at least), although i dont know if its transferrable…

The thing with that is you have to pay for shipping to microsoft which is like $80 and sometimes it could take upwards of 4 weeks iirc.

If you get rrod you phone their customer service, and they mail you a box to put the xbox into along with the shipping slip and everything. Purolator it and you get it back usually within a week.

Forgot to add i bought mine used too… so i was a bit worried when i got my red rings but it was easy as pie dealing with them. Quick and easy.
