does it need to be tune when you instal it??

Yes I have used it on my own car. I had an electrical issue with my MAF wires and I thought it was the unit itself so I ordered another one… Turned out the MAF was fine all along so now I have 2 working MAFS and only need one.
You cannot simply hook it up to your stock SR. You will need a SAFC or have your comp tunned for the Z32.
