This has come up but nothing has ever come of it. what do you guys think of sharing some ftp space for movies, music, tv shows and other non-legalties… i’ve always wanted to do it but didnt have a group of people interested.
i know nutta is in 😃 anyone else?
I’ll host it of course… I’ve got some spare bandwidth to play with on a fast box. access could be a non-official member ‘perk’ of SON? 🙂

ive got a shit load of music…mostly every “underground” punk cd since i was in grade 11. i have a load of other shit but you guys probably already have it…family guy, chapelle show, etc etc

Wicked, I’ve got lots of movies (300+ dvd rips), lots of music (120gb+) , and lots of other random crap as well.
We could all just post lists and it would work sort of on a request system I guess - just upload what we know for sure people are going to download based on what they ask for specifically.
//edit// and i forgot to mention i have access to SA’s sister site TGC and can get unlimited amounts of porn 😃

i have almost everything, or can get everything.

but i’m an FTP noob.
i’m using Filezilla to upload to my server ATM. It’s pretty easy to use.

I have some music (20gb) a lot of it is J-POP, so if anyone likes that stuff, I’m a decent source for it. Lots of anime, etc… I lost like 140gbs of stuff when one of my hard drives went to hell (long story), but I still have a decent amount of stuff.

We tried it out for a bit, and I did upload some Top Gear videos there… I think some people would like to have access to a decent FTP from time to time.
