# Fuel Cut-off Switch.

the pump ground goes to two things, the priming relay and the ecu

when you insert and turn the key to position 2, the priming relay will activate and provide ground for the pump for about 4 sec (under certain conditions it won’t but…) to ensure the rail is at adequate pressure for starting

once the car is running the ecu controls the ground and the priming relay is off
