# fuel question for the high boost guys

what fuel are those of you running at the track who are running 25+ psi of boost?

i would love to see someone do water/meth injection on an sr20/ca/kat!

meth injection is only viable if you are running highboost all the time because race gas is $15/gallon for 110 octane. If your running 16 psi daily and 20+ only occasionally then race gas is fine.

meth injection kits cost about $800 and im pretty sure you need some sort of retune to run it.

Torco Accelerator + Your FAV 93 octane = 108 octane for 9 dollars more!

if you are buying a 800$ kit, it usually comes with a controller to adjust sprays at different rpms. some are more complicated to tune then others.

then again, i know guys that made their own spray kits out of a washer pump, old injector, hose and just hit a button when they are racing with high boost. not exactly how id like to run it but…
