Well, I still cannot believe I am doing this, but I think the time has come for me to sell my pride and joy. I am trying to get into bike racing next year, so that means my baby has to go. As much as I would love to keep her, considering the extensive amount of work done, I just cant afford 2 loves at the same time. Just a quick run down… Year- 1996 Honda Civic DX Mileage on Chassis- 230,000km’s Mileage on motor and all suspension work- 16,000km’s (All work was done this year) Price- $10,000 OBO…Now $9000 Motor -B20 engine (Solid motor. Does not burn a single drop of oil) -Integra GSR Tranny (Syncromesh transmission fluid used) -Short shifter -DC headers -High flow cat -Cat-back Tanabe exhaust system -K&N air filter -Iridium NGK plugs -ONLY Mobile 1 5w50 oil used every 4,000km’s Suspension -Megan full coilovers (FULL dampening and height adjustable) -COMPLETE Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings (upper and lower control arms, sway bay bushings, trailing arm bushings) -Front and rear Type-R sway bars -A-spec racing (ASR) reinforcement kit -Front SIR control arms with Shock forks -Type-R 5 bolt conversion -Type-R brake booster and master cylinder -REAL Brembo cross-drilled and slotted rotors -DOT4 Brake fluid Exterior and interior -Authentic CTR front lip and grill -CTR style headlights -CTR style rear lip -Momo steering wheel -Compustar 2 way pager -New kenwood speakers -MP3 player -EL Cluster with Tach -Rust proofed Well I think that’s about it. More pictures will be posted up shortly when I get the chance. Other than a little bit of rust on the hood, this car is pretty much mint. This car has been babied, and no half ass or short cuts were taken with this car. With all the work done, especially the bushings, this is essentially a new car. I love her to death and it really pains me to part with her, but you have to do what you have to do. Car is located in the GTA by Midland and Finch. is it just a b20 or does it have a different head like a type R head or a b16 head etc. ---

It is just a B20. But I am really surprised how well this thing pulls considering it doesnt even have Vtec yet. It pulls a lot harder than my S14 before, and its quicker than my friends 2.5RS with all the usual bolt-on’s as well (harders, exhaust, intake etc). ---

to whoever buys this this car has alot of potentioal my buddy has the same setup with the crv block. but he has a type-R head and bolt ons and it has 237hp to the wheels and 198foot pounds thats alot for a civic ---

no nitrous those blocks have tourqe and he has a real good tune and port and polish on type-r head ---

How can u justify that those numbers are not possible? No offence, but perhaps you are not building them properly, because there are a ton of poeple out there who can make those numbers. My buddy has a non-vtec b18 motor with a fully built block and cams with a port and polish on the head and is pushing 200hp+. There are a lot of ways and different technique to build a motor. Just because one person cannot do it, does not mean that it is not possible in another persons hands. ---

The torque number is impossible for allmotor unless you go K or H even still its RARE, I helped my friend to build the fastest street car in the cscs class and it went 11.4 allmotor and made 250whp and 160torque (b20 vtec). I have seen many cars dynoed and I will tell you this right now, I have yet to see a allmotor car make over 170torque in canada 😃 ---

but that all aside bump for a perfect daily driver car. B20 has perfect torque for daily driving and gets great gas mileage! ---

Hey thanks for the bump guys. Sorry, I was more focused on the hp talk, because you just said those numbers are not possible. As for the torque, to be honest, I am not too clear :). Cal-soy, sorry, but unfortunately I am no longer in the market for another vehicle. I just picked up a Quest the other day, so I am mainly just focusing on getting 2 wheels back on the track. So unless you got a great race bike, or a street SV, I am just looking to sell. I’ll try and send over some pics, but I work over 55 hours a week so its kind of difficult. But the underbody is mint, as well as the interior. As the post says, rust proofing was done last year. ---
