First I would like to appologize. I shouldn’t have started such a debate in this thread. I haven’t seen the ricer cobalt that you speek of. I hate tacky cars. On a different note… The woman that I know is directly from the Phillapians. She has alot more leverage than anyone born in America. I don’t care how many paragraphs that you reference. It actually offends people more when they are told what offends them. It kinda offends me as well. I would put money on you actually offending yourself. Thats right PC=offensive. Maybe, Asian should be reserved for people of Orential decent that are born in America. People born in Asia, or pacific islands can be called Orential. ---

Filipinos born in the US are called Filams. Being fresh of the boat. I had no idea that the term “oriental” had deogatory connotations. Its when I actually started really learning american culture and how asians are viewed in this society that the term oriental has negative connotations. ---
