Well in the movie im pretty sure they usually have one hand on the broom at all times meaning its primarily played one handed. Between that fact and that its really the only item that authenticates the whole “magical experience,” I dont think its that big of deal. Still amazingly dorky though. ---

Yeah that’s really the only reason the broom is there. It makes it way harder to run and catch and everything. I suppose it equalizes everything for the less athletic ones too. The main reason they even got me to play was because it was full contact for the forwards. The way they play is basically like rugby. When we used to play it was just an excuse to hit one another, and do dumb shit. For the record, I only read the first book, haha. ---
