so my friend comes to me asking if i had an idea why his blowers werent working because there is no air comming out of his vents. i say its a fuse so i check.

turns out that the fuse for the blowers was MELTED so i pulled it out … there is a lot of gunk and goo where the fuse is supposed to be.

any suggestions to how i should clean it out ?

an exacto knife

but before you just shove another fuse in there have a look at the wiring, there has to be a reason why a fuse like that melted so badly

Yes, I would say most likely he put in a fuse if it was a recent problem that was too much of an amperage yielding it unsafe and melting the fuse.

Just a thought, check the manual!
